Technical Lead - C#, React/Angular

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead who combines strong fundamentals, modern engineering practices, and leadership capability. This role is ideal for someone who can architect systems, write high-quality code, mentor developers, and drive engineering excellence in a fast-paced startup environment. You will play a critical role in shaping both the technical direction and the engineering culture of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Design and implement scalable, event-driven architectures
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design principles
• Make key decisions on technology stack, frameworks, and tools
• Ensure systems are secure, performant, and maintainable

Development & Delivery

• Actively contribute to development using C# (.NET) and React
• Build and maintain cloud-native applications on Azure
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Ensure high-quality delivery through unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end (E2E) testing

AI-Driven Development

• Leverage modern AI development tools to improve productivity
• Guide the team on effective and responsible use of AI-assisted coding
• Balance AI usage with strong engineering fundamentals and code quality

Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Lead and mentor a team of developers
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Support hiring and onboarding of new engineers
• Collaboration
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience in C# / .NET latest and ASP.NET Core Web API
• Solid experience with React + TypeScript
• Experience building event-driven architectures, with knowledge of evolving from a Modular Monolith to Microservices
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Service Bus, AI Foundry)

Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of:
• SOLID principles
• Design patterns
• Clean architecture
• Experience with:
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Unit testing frameworks (xUnit preferred)
• End-to-end testing tools (Playwright preferred)
• DevOps & Cloud
• Experience with Docker (containerization)
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and deployment strategies
• Understanding of scalability, reliability, and monitoring
• Leadership & Mindset
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Passion for mentoring and growing a team
• Startup mindset: adaptable, proactive, and ownership-driven
• Focus on long-term quality over short-term shortcuts
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a technical lead or similar leadership role

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agentic AI/ML integrations or AI-assisted development tools (Cursor , Antigravity , Claude)
• Exposure to high-scale or real-time systems - SignalR
• Experience working in early-stage startups
