Position Summary:
This role will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Accounting department. This role will provide various general accounting tasks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enters and verifies the accuracy of invoices, accounting documents, and records
- Assists and manages job costing for multiple locations
- Performs the day to day management of the payment cycle
- Creates and records journal entries
- Reconciles assigned accounts
- Assists with Month-End close processes
- Assists with reporting as necessary
- Ability to meet payable deadlines through organization and company processes
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience and Competencies:
- 1-3 years of previous AP / accounting experience desired
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask and appropriately follow up on outstanding tasks
- Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor
