Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, developing and executing our global marketing vision and long-term growth strategy.
- Partner with executive and senior leadership to establish strategic priorities and growth initiatives.
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing organization focused on innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Portfolio Management and Brand Strategy:
- Direct the Company's brand strategy across the Company portfolio
- Establish brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and annual marketing plans.
- Drive long-term brand equity and consumer relevance.
- Identify opportunities for brand expansion, licensing, partnerships, collaborations, and new consumer segments.
Demand Generation:
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, influencer, PR, experiential, retail, and traditional channels.
- Develop programs that increase consumer awareness, engagement, and purchase intent.
- Drive growth across ecommerce, Amazon, DTC, and retail channels.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee the Company digital marketing and social media strategies along with content development, influencer programs, & community engagement.
- Leverage emerging platforms and current cultural trends to expand brand reach.
- Develop data-driven performance marketing initiatives.
Product Innovation:
- Bring innovative products to market in partnership with Product Development
- Lead go-to-market strategies for major launches, as well as seasonal programs.
- Ensure marketing efforts support both retail sell-in and consumer sell-through objectives.
Retail and Trade:
- Develop marketing programs that support key retail partners and strengthen customer relationships.
- Create compelling retailer presentations and promotional programs.
- Collaborate closely with Sales department to drive category growth and retail success.
Creative Communications:
- Oversee brand creative, packaging direction, content creation, public relations, and corporate communications.
- Ensure consistent brand expression across all consumer and retailer touchpoints.
- Lead agency relationships and external marketing partners.
- Establish a consumer insights capability that informs development of produce and company marketing decisions.
- Utilize data, research, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Measure marketing effectiveness and optimize investment allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or another related field.
- 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
- Proven success leading marketing for consumer products, toys, entertainment, lifestyle, or CPG brands.
- Strong understanding of brand building, digital marketing, consumer insights, and retail marketing.
- Ability to work on site at least three days per week
