Who you’ll work with:
You will join PwC’s growing Retail, Consumer & Digital Consulting practice in Southeast Europe. You will work closely with the SEE Retail, Consumer & Digital Practice Lead and collaborate with PwC teams across strategy, technology, data & AI, cybersecurity, workforce transformation, deals and tax.
The role is focused on helping Retail and Consumer clients address strategic, commercial, operational and digital transformation challenges, including the practical use of data, AI and new technologies.
What you’ll do:
- Lead business development and go-to-market activities across the SEE region
- Develop account plans, proposals, client presentations, business cases and statements of work
- Lead client projects covering corporate and commercial strategy, digital & AI strategy, AI use cases, commercial excellence (4P), customer experience, e-commerce, omnichannel, pricing, promotions, assortment, supply chain and operating-model transformation
- Lead market, client, digital maturity and performance analyses and translate insights into executive recommendations
- Lead the identification and prioritisation of strategic, operational, digital, data and Agentic AI opportunities based on business value and feasibility
- Manage consulting projects and multiple workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery
- Lead and facilitate client workshops with business and technology stakeholders
- Assess how proposed changes affect business processes, roles, capabilities, decision rights and ways of working
- Conduct stakeholder assessments, change-impact analyses and organisational-readiness reviews
- Develop practical communication, engagement, training and adoption plans
- Help clients move from pilots and proof-of-concepts to scaled implementation and business-as-usual operations
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and support account growth
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and PwC specialists across SEE, CEE and the wider PwC network
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Drive the development of reusable tools, benchmarks and materials for Retail, Consumer & Digital practice
What we expect from you:
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, digital transformation, business transformation or a related corporate role
- Strong experience working with retail, consumer goods, FMCG, e-commerce or related sectors
- Practical understanding of digital transformation, data, AI, customer experience or technology-enabled business change
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Goal oriented mindset, self-driven approach and a sense of ownership
- Ability to connect transformation work with measurable business outcomes as a change management effort
- Ability to structure complex business issues and translate them into clear recommendations
- Experience in developing implementation plans, governance structures, KPI frameworks or benefits-realisation approaches
- Proven experience leading proposals, business cases, client presentations and commercial discussions
- Proven ability to manage projects, lead complex project streams and lead multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience managing senior client stakeholders and contributing to business development and account growth
- Professional fluency in English. Croatian or another SEE language is an advantage
- Willingness to travel across the SEE region when needed
