Head of Finance - Climate Division, Genuit Group

Role Purpose
We are now looking for an outstanding Head of Finance to play a pivotal role within our Climate Division. This is a highly visible position, acting as the Finance Director's deputy and partnering with the Climate Senior Leadership Team to influence strategic decisions, improve commercial performance and drive sustainable growth across a division built of reputable businesses.
This is a hybrid role with travel required to each of the Climate Division sites as and when the role demands.
Climate Division locations: Caerphilly, High Wycombe, Stonehouse in Gloucestershire, Honiton.
What you'll be doing
This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll be at the heart of the business, providing commercial insight, challenging thinking and helping leaders make better decisions.
Lead a high-performing finance function
Support the Finance Director in developing a best-in-class finance team.
Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
Standardise finance processes, systems and reporting across the division.
Drive automation, simplification and data-led decision making through our Shared Services (GBS) team.
Drive commercial performance
You'll play a leading role in improving profitability through effective pricing and commercial decision-making by:
Developing consistent pricing strategies and governance.
Monitoring price realisation, margin performance and discount compliance.
Partnering with commercial teams to optimise pricing and deal profitability.
Introducing meaningful pricing KPIs and performance measures.
Deliver meaningful business insight
You'll build a finance performance framework that enables leaders to make informed decisions by:
Developing a clear Finance KPI framework linked to strategic objectives.
Producing insightful reporting, variance analysis and forward-looking recommendations.
Embedding data visualisation tools, including Power BI, to provide real-time performance insight.
Improve productivity and cost performance
Working closely with operational leaders, you'll:
Support cost optimisation programmes across the division.
Develop productivity dashboards and cost tracking metrics.
Identify efficiency opportunities through benchmarking and continuous improvement.
Provide robust ROI analysis and business cases to support investment decisions.
Be a trusted business partner
Success in this role will come from your ability to influence and collaborate. You'll:
Partner with senior leaders across the Climate Division to improve business performance.
Provide clear commercial insight into profitability, costs and growth opportunities.
Challenge constructively while supporting decision making.
Embed finance into key commercial and operational processes, from pricing to performance reviews.

Acting as a trusted partner and coach to finance colleagues, supporting their professional growth and development.

What you'll bring
Essential
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
Strong commercial finance and operational expertise.
A proven track record of driving business performance and cost transformation.
Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability.
Experience designing KPI frameworks and performance dashboards.
Desirable
Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation tools.
Knowledge of pricing tools or CRM systems.
Experience transforming or scaling finance functions.
Manufacturing sector experience.
