Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Service Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to join Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative team, where people come first and integrity guides every action.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
