Description
Job Title: Assistant Brand Manager – Vaseline Social
Work Location: Mumbai HO
WHAT’S THE OPPORTUNITY:
Vaseline is Unilever’s largest Skin Care brand globally. In India too, we are the No. 1 Body Care brand, on great momentum — recently crossing the coveted INR 1000 Cr turnover milestone to join HUL’s elite brands. Yet despite this scale and momentum, we are only scratching the surface of opportunity, with <10% annual penetration.
We are looking for an experienced Social and AI-first marketer to lead the Social and AI / AEO transformation of Vaseline in India.
This is not a role to manage social channels. We want a consumer, culture and platform obsessed brand builder to help Vaseline win on Social and AI — shaping what people see, search, share and say, and making it India's most talked-about and culturally relevant skincare brand.
You will shape how Vaseline shows up in culture, communities and conversations. You will craft the brand’s social strategy, define its social tone of voice, identify emerging consumer, cultural and platform trends, build platform-native content ecosystems, and create breakthrough social and collab activations that Gen Z and young millennials want to engage with, share, remix and talk about.
You will own both Brand Say and Others Say and lead the brand’s AEO / GEO (Answer / Generative Engine Optimization) charters - ensuring Vaseline wins across consumers’ minds, feeds and searches.
PROFILE REQUIREMENT – WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
5-7 years of experience in leading brand and social media marketing
Led social strategy, content strategy and activations for a brand – not just ran a calendar
Curious, entrepreneurial, ownership mindset; obsessed with internet culture and communities; comfortable with creative strategy and data; measures success by outcomes, not vanity metrics
Bonus: AEO / GEO (Answer / Generative Engine Optimization)
