Description
We are looking for a Facility Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and improvement of Manufacturing & Engineering (M&E) facility systems. This role is responsible for ensuring all facility equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently to support uninterrupted production activities.
You will manage facility maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment issues, support improvement projects, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
What You Will Do
Manage the maintenance, repair, and operation of M&E facility equipment, including cost tracking and improvement activities.
Oversee the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of facility equipment projects.
Ensure reliable and efficient operation of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, air compressors, fire protection systems, blowers, vacuum systems, and pumps.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify equipment wear, abnormalities, and potential failures.
Ensure facility operations comply with DOE, DOSH, BOMBA, and other regulatory requirements.
Manage vendors and contractors for facility improvement projects, including defining work scope, reviewing design specifications, monitoring installation progress, and conducting final acceptance.
Maintain facility equipment in a safe, environmentally compliant, and operational condition according to preventive maintenance schedules.
Investigate equipment abnormalities, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions for continuous improvement.
Support energy efficiency initiatives and ensure zero interruption to production due to facility-related issues.
Lead and provide guidance to facility technicians to ensure effective execution of daily maintenance activities.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Facility Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
Hands-on experience with facility systems such as HVAC, cleanroom environments, process electrical/mechanical systems, air compressors, vacuum systems, and blowers is an advantage.
Experience managing technicians or supporting a maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to drive facility improvement activities.
