Our COSI Human Health (HH) Finance team leverages sophisticated financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting and performance evaluation techniques to propel medical innovation and enhance people's lives. As part of this role, you'll manage, review, report. Furthermore, you will analyze inventory, production, and product cost data and support monthly accounting close and management cycles for multiple branches across the world in the Cost of Sales & Inventory (COSI) matrix organization.
Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the experience of working at our organization. The Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security.
Purpose of the role
This position is part of the COSI matrix organization, which performs end to end activities from actual occurrence of a financial result till consolidation level in HQ. As a Financial Analyst your main tasks will be maintaining, reviewing, reporting and analyzing inventory, production and product cost data and supporting the monthly accounting close and management cycles for multiple branches. For this role you will oversee and deliver end to end cost accounting, compliance, and finance support.
Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Maintain and create product cost under US GAAP rules.
• Control, analyze, and report production results and variances.
• Review and ensure accurate data is reported for monthly product cost and inventory consolidation close.
• Analyze standard revision on a global level and ensure appropriate accounting is performed.
• Identify and work on initiatives to improve cost control and increase efficiency.
• Provide accurate and timely financial cost and inventory data to customers.
• Participate in special and ad hoc projects to support management analysis.
Your profile
• Bachelor's/Master's in finance/business/administration/economics.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Finance, preferably in manufacturing/production, analytics or cost accounting.
• Experience with SAP production analysis and in preparing accounts in accordance with US GAAP.
• Improvement mindset.
•Fluency in written and spoken English.
