As Consumer Insights Manager, you will work closely with Marketing, Business Intelligence, Sales, Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing and Revenue Growth Management teams to strengthen consumer-centric decision-making across brands, categories and commercial priorities. The role is primarily focused on Polish market, with additional support for selected Central Europe markets.
Position Goal
Turn consumer, shopper and market understanding into clear, actionable recommendations that support business decisions and long-term growth. Lead strategic insight initiatives to uncover consumer trends, needs and opportunities, helping build strong and distinctive brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
- Partner with Brand Teams to support brand strategy, innovation, communication, activation and portfolio decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing, RGM and Business Intelligence teams to connect consumer understanding with commercial performance.
- Influence decision-making through compelling, insight-led recommendations and clear business storytelling.
Research & Insights
- Lead end-to-end insight and research projects, from business question definition and methodology recommendation to actionable recommendations.
- Manage a broad portfolio of initiatives including brand tracking, segmentation, innovation and communication testing, shopper studies, consumer understanding and post-activation learning.
- Recommend the most effective insight approaches by combining research, data and existing knowledge sources to address business challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with research agencies and external insight partners.
Consumer & Market Understanding
- Develop and execute the consumer insight agenda for Poland.
- Structure complex or ambiguous business questions into clear learning agendas and actionable recommendations.
- Identify key consumer, shopper, category and market trends, translating them into business implications.
- Build a deep understanding of consumer motivations, need states, occasions, rituals and purchase drivers across key spirits categories.
Knowledge & Organization Impact
- Build and continuously develop a knowledge base of consumer, shopper and category insights.
- Embed insights into business planning, decision-making and performance evaluation processes.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities, challenge assumptions and promote consumer-centric thinking across the organization.
- Support selected Central Europe consumer insight initiatives and facilitate knowledge sharing across markets.
Skills and Qualifications:

- University degree in psychology, social sciences, economics, marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, Strategic Insights, Brand Strategy or related areas, ideally within FMCG, alcohol or consumer goods.
- Excellent analytical, structured problem-solving and storytelling skills.
- Strong experience in designing and managing qualitative and quantitative research projects end-to-end.
- Ability to translate consumer, shopper and market understanding into clear business recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven ability to influence decisions across functions without formal authority.
- Confidence to challenge assumptions, methodologies and business thinking in a constructive and diplomatic manner.
- Possess business curiosity and learning agility.
- Fluent Polish and English.
