Position Summary We are a growing consulting firm in need of a reliable and skilled Senior Graphic Designer to apply graphic design principals and creativity to design projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing corporate design work by completing artwork illustrations from concept creation to final product delivery. We are looking for a self-motivated, responsible and confident individual with a commitment to integrity and the ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with minimal supervision. Position Details Reports to: VP Corporate Development Location: Remote - US Position Type: FT FLSA Status: Exempt Pay: Salary Compensation: Commensurate with experience Travel: Minimal (5% or less) Essential Job Functions Collaborates with internal stakeholders to determine proposal messaging and themes and translates those from concept to creation Manages overall direction of graphics function within Capture Management department Oversees department graphic artist resources, assigns work, and evaluates quality of work products Reads solicitations and supporting materials to understand the work; engages with technical staff to create work flows, organization charts, graphics, and other visuals that tell the company story Creates clear and compelling graphics to convey key ideas and branded messaging Determines look and feel of proposals and other BD materials and develops graphics consistent with determined approach Acts as a technical resource in the area of graphics and publication design software, hardware and techniques Utilizes InDesign and other software tools for desktop publishing and graphic design and trains other team members in usage of these applications Coordinates with team members to schedule proposal production and printing, review of proposal deliverables, and coordinate shipping of final submission. Designs layout and graphics for brochures, signs, newsletters, presentation templates and materials, and other print media as needed Maintains graphics library and documentation on each proposal project Works with the assigned Proposal Manager and Technical SME to identify graphics support needs and level of effort and resourcing required Ensures work products are aligned with corporate branding Evaluates materials and collateral used for client meetings and project deliverables (PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, etc.), recommends and implements enhancements Supports Marketing department with design and development of corporate materials Other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, advertising, or related field Minimum 15 years of experience in graphic design Mastery of InDesign and other platforms/software for desktop publishing and graphic design Mastery of Illustrator and other graphic programs as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and the ability to use SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Presentation expertise to maximize visual appeal of materials within client-prescribed limitations Demonstrated graphic design skills and attention to detail Analytical skills Creativity and flexibility Candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented; experienced in organizing, managing and sharing information Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple simultaneous projects are essential Excellent communication skills and consultative mind-set; candidate must have ability to ask questions to gain greater understanding Comfortable working across the corporate spectrum Strong collaboration skills Exhibit initiative, positive attitude, and motivation.
