Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Virginia, MN. In this role, you'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers every day.

No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Location: Virginia, MN

Pay: $17.00 per hour

• Weekly Pay on Friday

Schedule

• 5:00 AM - 11:45 PM
• Approximately 37.50 Hours Per Week
• Consistent Early Morning Schedule
• Weekend Availability Required
• Must Be Available to Work a Consistent 6-Day Schedule

What You'll Do

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, and routine maintenance
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous janitorial, floor care, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required
