Industrial Cart Repair Team Member | Huntsville, AL

Pay: $20.50/hour
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 2:45 PM, with up to 3 hours of daily overtime

Job Impulse is hiring an Industrial Cart Repair Team Member in Huntsville, AL! This position involves repairing and performing preventative maintenance on carts and dollies used in automotive manufacturing. Candidates with welding experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on industrial carts, dollies, and modules used in automotive manufacturing.

• Follow standardized work instructions and safety procedures when completing repairs.

• Identify problems, troubleshoot issues, and help keep equipment in proper working condition.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.

• Participate in team meetings, training, and daily production activities.

• Follow environmental, safety, and lockout/tagout procedures to help prevent injuries and reduce waste.

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality and safety personnel.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Welding experience required or strongly preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and maintain focus.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to stand and walk for 80% or more of the workday.

• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.

• Availability to work up to 3 hours of overtime daily as needed.
