As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and supporting security-related incident response. Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and driver check-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe vehicle, pedestrian, and package movement at assigned posts and report unusual activity, damaged barriers, or other security-related issues according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
