The Most Important Things About Your Team, Your Focus, and Your Impact

RIB is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Manager Ireland to accelerate the growth of our leading construction software solutions, CostX and Candy, across the Irish market.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, developing strategic customer relationships, and managing complex enterprise software sales opportunities with contractors, consultants, developers, and other built environment organizations.

You will help customers transform how they estimate, plan, cost, and manage construction projects through industry-leading construction technology solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SaaS or enterprise software sales professional who enjoys opening new markets, engaging senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable business outcomes through technology.

You will work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Specialists to support the continued growth of RIB's construction software portfolio across Ireland.

Division: Sales - UK & Ireland
You will report to: Sales Director UK & Ireland

Key Responsabilities:

  • Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within the construction and built environment sectors across Ireland.
  • Sell RIB CostX and RIB Candy solutions to enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Create and execute strategic territory and account plans to maximize market growth.
  • Build, manage, and convert a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, commercial leaders, estimators, quantity surveyors, and project teams.
  • Lead customer meetings, software demonstrations, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Clearly communicate business value, return on investment (ROI), and operational benefits to prospective customers.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature and handover.
  • Negotiate, close, and expand software agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and technical teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling activities.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Travel across Ireland and the UK as required.

Your Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, or technology solutions.
  • Proven success winning new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing enterprise software opportunities valued at £500,000.
  • Strong business development, prospecting, and lead generation capabilities.
  • Experience selling to senior stakeholders, including executive and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Strong account management and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate business value and commercial outcomes rather than technical features alone.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven, and highly accountable approach to sales.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland and the UK.
  • Fluent English communication skills (C2 level) with the ability to engage customers effectively across phone, email, face-to-face, and virtual meetings.

 Advantageous

  • Experience selling construction software, project controls software, ERP solutions, or other technology solutions for the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of estimating, quantity surveying, cost management, project controls, or pre-construction workflows.
  • Experience working with contractors, consultants, developers, or infrastructure organizations.
  • Additional language skills.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and digital transformation in construction.
