Deliver Exceptional Customer Service While Supporting Mobility Solutions for Rideshare Drivers
Hertz is seeking a customer-focused and energetic Sales & Service Specialist (TNC) to join our Hertz Local Edition team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for Lyft and Uber drivers, helping them navigate the rental process and ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle pick-up through rental support.
As a key member of our team, you will combine customer service, sales support, and operational responsibilities to deliver a fast, efficient, and professional rental experience while contributing to location performance goals.
What You'll Do:
As a Sales & Service Specialist, you will:
- Deliver an exceptional rental experience by assisting customers throughout the rental process.
- Create reservations, process vehicle rentals, and prepare vehicles for customer pickup.
- Assist customers with rental extensions, billing inquiries, roadside assistance questions, and other post-rental support needs.
- Answer incoming calls and provide information regarding the Hertz Lyft and Uber Rental Car Programs, rental requirements, and program policies.
- Clearly communicate rental program details, procedures, and vehicle eligibility requirements.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue by recommending products and services that meet customer needs.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused environment in a fast-paced setting.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and rental-ready by:
- Inspecting vehicles for damage
- Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors
- Checking fuel levels and fluid levels
- Preparing vehicles for customer delivery
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Pay:
- $23.00 per hour.
- Bonus eligible, with opportunities to earn up to $2,400 annually.
Additional Compensation:
- Overtime eligibility in accordance with company policy and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Holiday pay at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for hours worked on designated holidays, plus holiday pay benefits.

Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Understanding of customer service and issue-resolution best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and communicate professionally with customers.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
