TECHNICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

 

Our client is an established international company specializing in cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining ventilation systems.

Operating across a variety of sectors, the company delivers specialized technical services at client premises, with a strong focus on quality, safety, technical expertise, and customer satisfaction.

 

THE POSITION:

• Manage and supervise operational teams and technical activities daily.
• Act as the link between field technicians, clients and company management, ensuring that projects are carried out efficiently, safely and in accordance with established technical and quality standards.
• A hands-on management position combining people leadership, technical oversight and operational coordination.

Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, supervise and motivate teams of technicians
• Coordinate daily activities, allocate responsibilities and ensure efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and working standards.
• Support the onboarding, training and professional development of technicians.
• Promote a positive working environment based on accountability, teamwork and professionalism.

Technical & Operational Management

• Oversee the technical execution of ventilation cleaning, inspection and maintenance projects.
• Ensure that technicians follow established procedures, technical specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor the correct use and maintenance of machinery, tools and equipment.
• Identify operational or technical problems and ensure that appropriate solutions are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and company procedures.

Project & Client Coordination

• Coordinate field activities and ensure projects are executed according to agreed schedules and requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with clients
• Address on-site operational issues and resolve unexpected challenges.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure work reports and project documentation are completed properly.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor operational performance, productivity and project results.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows and team efficiency.
• Ensure consistent application of company standards and working methods.
• Report operational results, challenges and improvement opportunities to senior management.

 

THE PERSON

A hands-on manager who combines technical understanding with strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Previous experience in facility operations management, technical service management, field service management or a similar supervisory role.
• Experience managing teams of technicians, maintenance personnel or field workers.
• A technical background or good understanding of mechanical systems, ventilation, HVAC, maintenance or industrial services.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A practical, hands-on management approach and the ability to make decisions independently.
• A strong sense of responsibility for quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
• Good command of English and Bulgarian.
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel to client locations when required.
• Openness to work shifts at the beginning to understand team dynamics.
