Description
Description
Company Overview
Procure Analytics is a tech-enabled global purchasing organization for MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) supplies and packaging. We leverage over $1B in buying power to deliver up-front and ongoing savings for more than 800 member companies, from mid-size businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, including US Foods, Honeywell, Macy’s, and Sabre.
MRO is a frequently overlooked category, often making up only 1–3% of a company’s total purchases but involving millions of SKUs and thousands of transactions. We were founded to address that gap. Since our start with 2 employees and $5M in managed spend, we have grown to over 100 employees and more than $1B in spend, while keeping a high-touch, member-focused service model. Our services, analytics, and training are provided to members at no cost.
Our values: We act with integrity and compliance, drive value creation and innovation, operate as disciplined entrepreneurs, and treat others with dignity and respect. We are collaborative, humble, and values-driven.
Ownership: Genstar Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm with approximately $33B in assets under management, invested in Procure Analytics in December 2021 alongside a rollover from Bregal Sagemount and our management team.
The Opportunity
After several years of major technology investment, we are committed to growing and enhancing our member-centric technologies at an even faster pace.
As a Support Engineer (Junior Systems Administrator), you will be the first line of support for incoming IT requests. You will administer and maintain software, hardware, and server systems for our Atlanta team and our overseas remote office, from end-user applications to compute and storage in our datacenter. You will test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems, and you will have the opportunity to influence how applications are architected and implemented across the company.
Key Responsibilities
• End-user software and hardware support
• Workstation deployment, maintenance, and repair
• Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises Active Directory administration
• Monitoring backups across our technology platforms
• IT project support and task management
• Security initiatives support, including:
- General security: assisting with endpoint protection and patch compliance, MFA enrollment and conditional access support, access reviews and least-privilege changes, onboarding and offboarding account controls, phishing triage, and security awareness
- AI security: helping roll out approved AI tools, supporting users on data-handling standards, identifying unapproved AI tool usage, supporting access controls for AI features in Microsoft 365 and Azure, and escalating AI-related risks
- Collaborating with business units across the organization to deliver solutions that fit their needs
Time Allocation & Contract Duration
This is a part-time position consisting of approximately 24 hours per week, with responsibilities allocated as follows:
- 14 hours: End-user IT support
- 6 hours: Proactive systems maintenance and security support
- 4 hours: Technical training and collaboration on team IT projects
This opportunity is structured as an initial six-month contract, with the potential for extension based on business needs and mutual interest. The role offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact, contribute to ongoing technology initiatives, and collaborate with teams across the organization.
