Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Director of Reimbursement with a start date on or before October 15, 2026. This position is based at our headquarters in Friendswood, TX, though remote candidates working from a home office will also be considered.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF The Director of Reimbursement

The Director of Reimbursement is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving end-to-end reimbursement and revenue cycle performance within Castle's complex molecular and advanced diagnostics environment. The role oversees reimbursement operations across the full revenue cycle, including eligibility, prior authorization, claims, medical records, denials, appeals, external reviews, and state complaints, while ensuring scalable processes, revenue integrity, payer alignment, and operational excellence. You will lead reimbursement managers and large production teams, establish performance quality standards, use data and KPIs to improve reimbursement outcomes and financial performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree required; healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle and reimbursement operations, including significant leadership in a complex, multi-state, high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading through managers and overseeing large production teams, including remote and/or outsourced operations.
• Deep experience across the full reimbursement lifecycle, including eligibility, prior authorization, claims, denials, appeals, and external reviews.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position. The employee is expected to maintain availability and responsiveness during scheduled work hours and to flex time, as business needs reasonably require, for reimbursement escalations, operational deadlines, meetings, or cross-functional collaboration.
