For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- +6 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Expert proficiency in Python and advanced SQL is required to build, transform, and maintain robust data pipelines in a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in pipeline orchestration using Airflow or Dagster, paired with familiarity with data quality frameworks such as Great Expectations, Soda, or Monte Carlo, is necessary to deliver reliable, production-grade data products.
- Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure, Fabric, Databricks, or Redshift.
- Solid engineering practices across Git and CI pipelines are expected to support collaborative, maintainable codebases across client engagements.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tooling including Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes is a valued asset for engineers comfortable working closer to the platform layer.
- Fluency in English (C1)
- Availability for a remote regime based in Portugal (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit and EU-based candidates are welcome if willing to relocate to Portugal).
