Shipco Transport Inc., a leading international cargo transportation company, has an immediate opening at our AMRO branch located in Chatham, NJ, for a Human Resources Associate.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, orientation, employee records management, and offboarding activities.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely administrative and operational HR support while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Maintain accurate personnel files, HR systems, data entry, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with general HR administration, employee communications, engagement initiatives, and company events.
- Participate in HR projects, reporting, process improvement initiatives, and compliance-related activities that support organizational goals.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new HR technologies quickly.
- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Previous HR experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with a growth mindset and a genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources.
