Customer Service Representative – Manitowoc, WI

We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will manage accurate and direct entry of customer purchase orders, provide knowledgeable product and customer service support and superior customer service support to all customers including, but not limited to end users, dealers and distributors.  This position will also work with shipping and receiving on the warehouse floor. 

You will:  

• Provide outstanding/world class customer service 
• Accurately maintain an electronic file system 
• Provide general ordering information to distributors, dealers, and customers by telephone and written correspondence 
• Trace and/or re-consign shipments with freight carriers 
• Assist customers with product set up and order tracking information 
• Proactively discuss application of parts, equipment, pricing, order status, availability and lead times 

Key Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• 1+ years of customer service experience 
• Skilled with MS Office applications; ability to operate all related equipment for the role. 
• Customer oriented; capable of effectively dealing with all levels of internal and external contacts 
• Must be a team player 
• Positive Attitude and Excellent work ethic 
• Strong planning and problem solving/analytical skills 
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time in a normal office environment 

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!): 

• 1st shift:  8:00am – 4:30pm Monday - Friday 
• This is an in-office position, no remote work 

Compensation: 

The hourly pay for this role is: $21.50/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
