Job Description:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operational processes across exchange-traded derivatives (futures and options), clearing, and securities products, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Subject matter expert for futures and clearing operations, supporting trade lifecycle management, exchange processing, reconciliations, settlements, and exception handling.
- Monitor operational risks and controls, ensuring issues are identified, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Partner with Front Office, Clearing Brokers, Exchanges, Finance, Risk, and Technology teams to support business activities and operational stability.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, clearing exceptions, and operational incidents.
- Support onboarding of new products, exchanges, brokers, and market initiatives from an operational readiness perspective.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve controls, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance operational procedures, documentation, and control frameworks.
- Participate in system enhancements, testing, and operational improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in Futures & Options Operations, Clearing Operations, or Markets Operations within a bank, broker-dealer, clearing member, or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of exchange-traded derivatives, including futures and options lifecycle events.
- Hands-on experience with exchange connectivity, clearing workflows, margin processes, position management, and settlement activities.
- Good understanding of exchange and clearing house frameworks.
- Experience supporting high-volume operational environments with strong risk and control awareness.
- Ability to investigate operational issues and drive timely resolution across stakeholders.
- Familiarity with operational platforms, exchange systems, and reconciliation tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
- Mandarin language skills would be advantageous to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across the region.
