Assistant Vice President (Team Member) - IPO Vetting

Job Summary:

The IPO Vetting Department of the Listing Division is responsible for processing (1) applications for new equity listings including transactions by listed companies deemed to be new listings; and (2) pre-IPO enquiries relating to new equity listings.

Job Duties:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to a team manager in processing IPO applications
• Draft comment letters and Department reports to Listing Committee
• Provide support for pre-IPO enquiries, IPO related policy matters and ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor
• Provide accounting, legal or other professional support to the work of the Listing Department

Job Requirements:

• Qualified lawyers/accountants with a minimum of 7 years working experience or university graduates of other relevant disciplines with at least 7 years working experience in law, accounting, corporate finance, investment banking or a related field
• Good experience that demonstrates knowledge of the Listing Rules and knowledge of the securities industry and its practices including securities laws and accounting practices
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is essential
