Intern – Resource Management, MIS and Process Governance

Role Summary
The Intern - Resource Management, MIS & Process Governance plays an important role in supporting the operational excellence of the Resource Management function by ensuring data accuracy, process compliance and timely reporting. This role is ideal for someone who naturally pays attention to detail, enjoys working with data and structured processes, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Success in this role requires discipline in adhering to governance standards, meeting deadlines and maintaining data integrity, while also demonstrating curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate operational and administrative support to the Resource Management, MIS & Process Excellence function.
- Maintain data across internal systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency and compliance with established governance standards.
- Perform regular data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards and management information for internal stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Document and maintain business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow maps and governance documentation.
- Support process governance by ensuring adherence to defined processes, service timelines, data standards and organizational policies.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate processes, and assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while handling confidential information with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and data security.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Management, Project Management, Data Analytics or a related discipline. Final-year students and candidates undertaking a mandatory internship are encouraged to apply.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with advanced Excel functions, Power Query or similar tools will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or a strong interest in learning business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with databases, reporting concepts, business process documentation and Microsoft Office applications will be an added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to deliver consistently accurate, high-quality work.
- Demonstrates discipline in following established processes, governance standards, policies and agreed timelines.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, resolve discrepancies and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Curious, proactive and eager to learn, with a continuous improvement mindset and an interest in simplifying, standardizing and automating processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while demonstrating professionalism, accountability, integrity and respect for confidential information.
