What You’ll Do
- Support the processing and administration of insurance claims, including preparing and following up correspondence with clients and insurers.
- Liaise with insurers, clients, brokers and other relevant parties to progress and close claims promptly.
- Maintain accurate claims records and regularly update claims status reports.
- Monitor open claims, follow up outstanding actions and ensure timely turnaround of requests.
- Maintain organised filing systems and ensure claims documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Identify matters requiring escalation and ensure all activities are completed in line with relevant policies, procedures and industry requirements.
Key Criteria
- MUST possess minimum 3–5 years of experience in insurance claims, preferably within an Australian insurance environment.
- MUST have hands-on experience with Australian motor and property claims.
- Good understanding of insurance claims processes, administration and documentation.
- Strong communication skills with experience liaising with insurers, brokers, clients or other insurance stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a professional, customer-focused and collaborative approach.
Work setup
- Australian hours (6am - 3pm, PHT) with a hybrid setup (3 days a week to go on-site, 2 days work from home).
