Position Summary
The Sales Specialist 2 (Operations) combines established sales expertise with expanded, role‑based capabilities in Operations. The Sales Specialist 2 executes the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model to deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive repeat visits, and achieve targeted sales per hour while meeting all key performance indicators (KPIs). In addition to core sales responsibilities, the role includes developing advanced operational capabilities by performing standard work, supporting operational customer functions, and maintaining the cash office in accordance with established standards.Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and drive proficiency in the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model, aligning behaviors to expected sales outcomes and meeting or exceeding Sales Per Hour thresholds.
- Review daily sales results and complete monthly proficiency plans using end-of-month reporting tools.
- Maintain guest satisfaction survey scores at or above store goals; perform guest email follow-ups and resolve open CRM tickets promptly.
- Assist store leadership in resolving guest escalations, returns, exchanges, and discounts in compliance with SOP guidelines.
- Process all payment transactions accurately, including cash, financing, and credit cards; execute assigned Cash Office standard work, including vault opening and closing, in compliance with Asset Protection and security policies.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Commercial & Trade programs, driving outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building with business clients.
- Perform Sales Specialist‑1 and assigned Sales Specialist‑2 Standard Work for sales and operations while following structured routines for planning, lead tracking, and event execution.
- Ensure compliance and consistency in all processes, including SOP adherence, commercial objectives, and performance routines from concept through delivery.
Qualifications
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment preferred. High volume experience is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.
Certificates and Licenses: None required
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $17.80 - $23.15Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
