Job Description:
As a Working Student within our Logistics Operations team, you will play an important role in supporting the movement of materials and equipment between suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and project sites. This position provides valuable exposure to international supply chain and logistics processes within a fast-growing renewable energy company.
You will support daily logistics activities, maintain shipment data, review documentation, and assist with coordinating shipments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student who is eager to gain practical experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to the global energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of just-in-time logistics activities across suppliers, manufacturing locations, and project sites.
- Prepare and maintain logistics and business-related documentation.
- Review freight and shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Send shipment notifications to relevant stakeholders.
- Track and monitor shipments and provide status updates as needed.
- Maintain and update shipment information in Fluence systems and databases.
- Edit, organize, and archive logistics documentation.
- Review and process freight invoices in accordance with internal procedures.
- Provide operational support to the Logistics team as required.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at a recognized German university.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English or German.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
Additional Skills
- Proficiency in both English and German.
- Previous experience through internships, student jobs, or academic projects related to logistics, supply chain, business administration, or operations.
- Familiarity with shipment tracking systems or ERP platforms.
- Experience working with data management and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and versatility to support urgent operational requirements when needed.
