Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Shopping Cneter Mobile Driver in Big Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail grocery store clients, customers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations; document observations and notify appropriate store contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
