Product Owner

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives and oversee data governance strategies across the enterprise. This role requires deep expertise in MDM architectures, data delivery, and enterprise data stewardship to drive gold records and reference data management efforts.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Lead product ownership and strategic direction for Master Data Management initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance objectives
• Design and architect MDM solutions, including gold records management and reference data frameworks that support data quality and consistency
• Oversee data delivery pipelines and establish data stewardship practices across business units
• Conduct enterprise data analysis to identify data gaps, quality issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and MDM concepts across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain comprehensive MDM architectures
• Mentor data stewardship teams on best practices for managing master data and reference data repositories
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and product roadmaps for MDM platforms

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Product Ownership, Master Data Management, or related data leadership roles
• Proven expertise in MDM architectures, gold records management, and reference data solutions
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data stewardship practices, and MDM concepts
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise data analysis and data quality management
• Track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving MDM implementation initiatives
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
