Title: Field Service Technician I
Location: North East, Puerto Rico
Position Summary

We are looking for Field Service Technicians who are technically curious, mechanically inclined, and customer focused. NCR Atleos’s Field Services Team creates value for our customers by delivering solutions that build long term relationships. Acting as a first line response to our customers, you will communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner with the focus being finding the right solution. You will organize, triage customer issues, and even handle some problems before they start. No matter the situation, your formal training (provided through NCR Atleos) will allow you to provide customers what they need when they need it.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for ATM equipment and other electromechanical equipment at multiple customer locations within an assigned territory or region.
Take ownership of all customer issues and requirements that are identified or communicated and respond appropriately.
Understand and fulfill customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and escalate issues when appropriate and/or according to established procedures.
Represent NCR Atleos in a professional manner that reflects positively on the company's image and reputation.
Verify that the customer site environment meets all requirements prior to installation or deployment. Install customer systems according to the approved installation plan.
Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls
Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations
Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity
Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible
Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution
Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos
Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements
Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs
Basic Qualifications
Local candidate to the specific geographic area
Previous experience is not required. Recent graduates, interns, or candidates with internship experience or experience maintaining industrial equipment or electronic systems may be considered
At least 19 years of age
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements
PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
Certificate of good conduct / criminal background clearance
Availability to travel
Flexible schedule availability
Ability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including:
Prolonged travel with several hours of driving per day
Rotating and weekend shifts
Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements manipulating objects of various sizes
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification
One (1) or more years of related experience
Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
