Description
While reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to business unit Quality Leads for standardized quality systems. This includes data collection schemes, test methods, standard instructions, audits, manuals, and other routine quality systems areas.
Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Assurance & Process Control
Establish and monitor end-to-end quality controls (Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection).
Develop Quality Plans, FMEAs, SOPs, and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to keep processes within target tolerances.
Conduct regular process audits and ensure execution of necessary corrective actions.
2. Scrap & Non-Conformity Management
Monitor, analyze, and report scrap, waste, and rework rates; lead root-cause investigations to drive scrap-reduction initiatives.
Manage quarantined/blocked non-conforming materials and coordinate supplier CAPA actions when necessary.
3. Customer Quality & Complaint Resolution
Lead customer complaint investigations using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analyses to prevent recurrence.
Host customer audits and technical visits and support quality-related customer visits on-site.
4. Product Development & System Documentation
Support product feasibility studies, sample creation, and technical specification/recipe design.
Maintain ERP master data, BOMs (Product Trees), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Manage the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, internal and external audits, and EHS compliance.
5. Continuous Improvement & Training
Lead Kaizen projects to reduce defects, improve process capability, and optimize costs.
Track departmental KPIs, present periodic performance reports to Plant Management, and provide quality training to production staff.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical o related fields).
Experience: 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: ISO 9001:2015, FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys, and Lean/Kaizen methodologies.
Software: ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and data management software.
Languages: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
