Our team is looking for a Customer Account Manager for the Type Certificate group to join them. You will report to the Type Certificate (TC) Program Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Creedmoor, NC.
To be considered for the Customer Account Manager, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- HS diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant work experience
- 1+ years of experience working in a cross-functional matrix organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate business records.
- Ability to use or learn manufacturing and business systems.
- Aerospace industry experience preferred.
- Excel and Smartsheet proficiency preferred.
As a Customer Account Manager, you will:
- Respond effectively and expeditiously to all correspondence, status requests, attend regular meetings as required to support TC tasks.
- Works effectively with cross functional team, customers, and stakeholders in achieving successful execution of TC program support, upholding company values always.
- Manage new TC customer account set up, vetting, and credit control queries.
- Submit and manage all needed compliance paperwork (EUC, Checklists, etc.), inquiries, and actions.
- Manage monthly customer meetings, including coordinating updates, open actions, and follow-up activities
- Attend and provide updates to daily production meetings.
- Manage customer/operator quality support.
- Manage Customer Portal Management.
- Review and manage incoming purchase orders and purchase order revisions.
- Utilize CRM to ensure proper documentation of changes and requirements
- Work with customers to receive pro-forma payments where required.
- Provide updates for assigned actions during the AM Production meeting.
- Manage Technical publications – new sales and revisions
- Monitor order processing and on-time delivery metrics
- Oversee, organize, and maintain all parts in stock at Creedmoor and consignment in Havelock, NC
- Assist with all AAR shipments, pick list, pack slip, packaging, handling, crating (if necessary), and shipping.
- Communicate with inspection to receive in all material inventory into stock (Epicor transaction)
- Communicate with stockroom to assign production orders, kitting, assembly, and submit and manage final inspection.
- Package and create labels (per part/kit), work instructions, drawings, and diagrams to be added to kits, parts, assemblies etc.
- Work in shipping to expedite shipping and receiving inspections and process flows.
- Print manuals and publications in support of Technical Publication Sales.
- Occasionally travel to offsite warehouse
Accountability:
- Contributing to a safety-first culture by identifying and recording hazards using the company Health and Safety tracking system.
- Providing accurate and timely customer communication.
- Creating accurate sales quotes and sales orders.
- Providing current and accurate backlog information to customers.
- Maintaining sales order, production, CRM, and backlog data accuracy.
- Ensuring orders and sales reviews are properly completed and closed.
- Properly close out orders and sales reviews
- Following Ontic and FAA procedures for the management of FAA Type Certificate data.
- Supporting on-time delivery performance and proactively escalating risks that may affect customer commitments.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records in accordance with company, customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Salary Range:
- $60,000-70,000/yr based on experience
