Description
Hours you may be required to work depending on rentals include:
- Monday - Friday 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday - Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Attend an orientation and training session.
- Open and close the facility properly.
- Set up rooms for rental.
- Arrange rooms between rentals as needed.
- Complete facility checklist following each rental to determine any damage.
- Maintain log of any damage or incident occurring.
- Effective judgments regarding the well-being of participants and program.
- Maintain safety, discipline and control in an active environment.
- Complete and submit any necessary reports and forms in a timely manner including time sheets, incident or accident reports.
- Responsible for finding a substitute from supplied list if unable to work assigned shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to ensure rentals adhere to reserved timelines.
- Ability to determine and maintain a safe environment and act accordingly in an emergency.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with City staff and the general public.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills.
- Basic knowledge of use of defibrillator.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Conditions of Employment
- Must possess a valid Class D driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a BCA background check and driver's check.
