The Senior HR Generalist Benelux serves as a key link between HR Service Delivery, associates, people leaders, and the broader Human Resources organization. This role supports complex, non-standard, and higher-risk Human Resources situations that require application of policy, process expertise, and problem resolution skills. The HR Generalist II operates within a standardized Human Resources delivery model and contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance service quality, consistency, and employee experience across the Life Sciences Platform in the assigned geography. 

This position reports to the Director, LS Generalist, and is part of the Life Sciences Human Resources organization. 

What You'll Do 

• Resolve complex Human Resources cases and provide subject matter expertise on employee lifecycle transactions, policy interpretation, time and attendance, benefits, and other Human Resources inquiries. 

• Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and people leaders to drive execution of local activities aimed at supporting business requirements and ensuring operational continuity plans. 

• Support people leaders on performance management administration, documentation requirements, and Human Resources processes, including participation in talent acquisition activities as assigned. 

• Document case activities and maintain accurate records in Human Resources systems to support compliance, auditability, reporting, and knowledge management. 

• Identify process improvement opportunities, analyze recurring issues, and contribute to standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives across Human Resources Service Delivery. 

The Essential Requirements of the Job Include 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• 7+ years of experience in Human Resources operations, shared services, employee relations support, or a Human Resources generalist or specialty discipline. 
• Fluency in Dutch is mandatory, together with strong practical experience and knowledge of Dutch and Belgian labor practices.

• Experience independently managing complex Human Resources cases within established policies and procedures. 

• Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), case management systems, and related business applications, analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting process improvement initiatives. 

It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess 

• Experience providing compensation or hiring support during recruitment processes. 

• Experience working within a shared services or case management environment. 

• Experience in process standardization, automation, continuous improvement initiatives, and adoption of enhancements across the HR operating model.
