We're looking for an HR professional who understands that building a great healthcare team requires more than filling positions—it requires strong processes, consistent communication, and an intentional employee experience.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist – Payroll & Recruitment will support the day-to-day HR function at Providence Pointe with a primary focus on payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
This position will partner closely with facility leadership and department managers to maintain accurate payroll processes, improve recruitment outcomes, strengthen the new-hire experience, and lead initiatives that promote a positive and engaged workplace culture.
What You'll Do
- Manage and support facility payroll processes, including timecard review, payroll corrections, employee status changes, and coordination with managers to ensure timely and accurate payroll.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for facility vacancies, including job postings, applicant review, interview coordination, candidate communication, offers, and pre-employment processes. Host recruitment meetings with relevant department leaders.
- Monitor vacancy, applicant flow, time-to-fill, and hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation, creating a welcoming and organized experience from offer through the employee's first days.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS processes, personnel changes, and required documentation.
- Develop and coordinate employee engagement, recognition, retention, and culture-building initiatives throughout the facility.
- Serve as an accessible HR resource for employees and managers while escalating employee relations or compliance matters appropriately.
- Support HR compliance, reporting, audits, and other facility HR initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, not required.
- 2+ years of HR, payroll, recruiting, or related experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or another high-volume workforce environment is a plus.
- Experience with an HRIS/payroll platform; Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling payroll and employee records.
- Ability to build relationships with employees and leaders while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Comfortable taking ownership, following through on priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment.
