Role Overview 

As the IT Engineering Manager – Integration Platform Engineering Services, you will play a key leadership role in building and scaling TJX India’s integration engineering capability. You will lead talented engineers, influence enterprise integration strategy, and partner with global teams to modernize critical platforms that connect applications, data, services, and business processes across TJX. Key Responsibilities 

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers across varying levels of experience, creating an environment where people can grow, contribute, and deliver with confidence. 

• Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, collaboration, technical excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement. 

• Drive execution across integration platforms and modernization initiatives that support enterprise-scale business capabilities. 

• Partner with product, architecture, security, networking, store operations, and platform engineering teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver outcomes. 

• Strengthen engineering practices including secure coding, peer reviews, CI/CD quality gates, infrastructure-as-code, Definition of Done, and operational readiness. 

• Champion platform reliability through observability, staged rollouts, feature flags, rollback readiness, incident preparedness, and post-incident learning. 

• Provide technical leadership across code,  Test automation, pipelines, integration patterns,, infrastructure-as-code, and distributed troubleshooting to help teams move faster. 

• Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and retention of strong engineering talent for TJX India’s growing technology organization. 

• Represent the platform team within the Engineering Community of Practice and contribute to broader engineering standards and reusable practices. 

• Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes clearly with engineering teams, product partners, and senior stakeholders. 

Minimum Qualifications 

• 15+ years of overall technology experience, including 5+ years of people management experience. 

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams in integration platform, application integration, or data integration environments. 

• Strong understanding of application integration, data integration platforms, enterprise delivery practices, and modern engineering ways of working. 

• Proven ability to lead complex modernization initiatives with cross-functional dependencies, production impact, and aggressive timelines. 

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and decision-making skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with integration technology stacks such as Azure APIM and Fivetran CDC ,Boomi, Apigee, Kafka, Managed File Transfer, IBM ACE, WebSphere Application Server, and DataStage. 

• Experience with SLOs, error budgets, incident management, on-call leadership, and operational readiness practices. 

• Experience with observability, monitoring, OpenTelemetry, secure enterprise delivery patterns, and high-reliability systems. 

• Exposure to cloud-native engineering, Azure, Test automation, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and platform modernization practices.
