As a Services Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing integrated project schedules that support project execution from engineering and procurement through manufacturing, testing, and final delivery. You will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide schedule visibility, identify risks and opportunities, and drive successful project outcomes.
As a Services Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, maintaining, monitoring, and controlling integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, testing, and delivery activities.
- Ensuring schedule quality, logic, accuracy, and alignment with project scope, milestones, and execution requirements.
- Coordinating planning activities across engineering, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, materials management, and project management functions.
- Collaborating with project managers and execution teams to support on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Producing short-term and long-term project lookaheads that provide visibility into upcoming activities, milestones, constraints, and priorities.
- Analyzing project progress and performance while ensuring schedules accurately reflect project status and forecasted outcomes.
- Supporting tendering, project execution, and project closeout activities through effective planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Driving continuous improvement of planning processes, scheduling tools, and reporting methodologies to achieve fully integrated project planning.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline; equivalent industry experience may also be considered.
- Have proven experience in project planning, project controls, scheduling, operations planning, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate experience working within subsea, oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, industrial equipment, controls systems, or other large-scale project environments.
- Possess a strong understanding of project execution processes across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery functions.
- Have proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule development, maintenance, analysis, and reporting; experience with Oracle MRP or other ERP/MRP systems is considered advantageous.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), baseline management, progress measurement, forecasting, resource planning, and milestone management.
- Possess strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business insights.
- Be a proactive, results-oriented professional with excellent communication, leadership, influencing, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify risks, drive mitigation actions, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
