Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing efficient procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve any issues promptly, ensuring data integrity and availability. Collaboration with various teams to optimize database performance and support business processes is also a key part of the daily routine, fostering a reliable and secure data environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand database requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations to enhance efficiency.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Security.
- Experience with user access management and role-based permissions within SAP environments.
- Knowledge of database backup and recovery techniques to ensure data protection.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards and best practices related to database management.
- Ability to analyze and resolve security vulnerabilities and incidents effectively.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Security.
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
