Black Talent in Business

We know there is more to do to improve the representation of Black talent in our industry and within our early careers pipeline. Programmes like Black Talent in Business play an important role in helping us address this gap by widening access, building confidence and connections, and creating clearer pathways into our profession.

This programme is designed to give Black undergraduate students the opportunity to explore careers at PwC, build their understanding of our business and gain greater access to the opportunities we offer. Come and connect with people from across the firm, hear first-hand about their experiences and develop the skills, knowledge and networks that can help you build a successful career.

Actuarial Services

On our Actuarial Services programme, you’ll learn how to analyse and manage financial risks for clients through statistical modelling and data analysis. Actuaries provide valuable insights and recommendations to help businesses make informed decisions and mitigate potential risks. So, you’ll turn complex data into clear findings, presenting it to clients in simple, easy‑to‑understand language. Discover the breadth of work delivered across our actuarial business.

To do our work, we need to understand how a client’s business functions, so our people get an incredible grounding in all kinds of industries and sectors. You’ll work directly with clients, experiencing everything from the warehouse to the boardroom. You’ll see how CEOs and CFOs work and gain a unique perspective on how different organisations do business and deliver value.

What you’ll need  

You are in the first year of an undergraduate degree in any subject; 

Or in your second year of a four-year degree in any subject. 

When you apply, we’ll also ask for your location preference.  If you successfully complete the recruitment process, we’ll then let you know which office you’ll be based in during the three-day programme. Please be aware that we may not be able to offer you your first-choice office location.
