Description
Schedule: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Mondays & Tuesdays off)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site maintenance daily using the lawnmower, leaf blower, etc. as well as use the backhoe and forklift to move material around.
- Assisting the public with directing customers with the drop off of their disposal & recycling of household items
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Landfill experience is an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to personal, reliable transportation (site is not accessible by public transit)
- Backhoe & forklift experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the handling, storage and disposal of Hazardous Substance and Dangerous Waste is an asset.
- Experience or a mechanical aptitude would be an asset
- This position does require weekend shifts
