The Marketplace Engineering team at Walmart Global Tech drives innovation in global commerce by powering a rapidly growing eCommerce platform. This team delivers advanced tools for storefront management, pricing, and inventory control, supporting thousands of sellers worldwide. They build reliable, intelligent systems integrating real-time data and partner platforms to ensure seamless order experiences. What you'll do:
- Lead design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered software systems and intelligent automation solutions.
- Translate domain-level strategies into system-level implementations, ensuring architectural integrity and operational reliability.
- Champion DevOps and CI/CD practices to maintain resilient, observable, and performant services with effective monitoring and incident management.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural decisions, and mentorship to foster continuous learning and high-quality delivery.
- Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, automate manual processes, and drive improvements in tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate across teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and enterprise standards.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in system-level technical leadership, delivering scalable, reliable software solutions with architectural integrity.
- Proven expertise in designing and building cloud-native, AI-powered systems integrating advanced AI/ML components.
- Strong proficiency in software security, operational due diligence, and continuous development practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead full software development lifecycle, including DevOps, CI/CD, and incident management.
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and innovation skills to optimize platform design and development.
- Effective coaching and collaboration skills to mentor engineers and align cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across engineering processes.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
