We are seeking an experienced Contracts Management Analyst II to support a PAE Mission Systems contract. The successful candidate will provide contract administration, financial analysis, acquisition support, and program management assistance in support of government customers and program leadership.
This position requires an individual who can operate effectively in a fast-paced federal contracting environment, analyze contractual and financial information, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and provide timely, accurate recommendations to support program execution.
Key Responsibilities
The Contracts Management Analyst II will support a range of contract and program management activities, including:
- Provide contract administration and management support for DoW service contracts, task orders, and related acquisition activities.
- Review and analyze contract documentation, modifications, funding documents, statements of work/performance work statements, and other contractual deliverables.
- Track contract funding, expenditures, obligations, burn rates, periods of performance, ceilings, and other key contract metrics.
- Assist with development and maintenance of contract spend plans, funding forecasts, and execution reports.
- Identify potential funding, schedule, contractual, or performance issues and communicate risks to program leadership.
- Support preparation, coordination, and processing of contract modifications, funding actions, purchase requests, and other acquisition documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis of applicable contract requirements, policies, procedures, and acquisition regulations.
- Assist government and contractor program managers with contract planning, execution, and closeout activities.
- Develop reports, briefings, spreadsheets, dashboards, and other management products used to communicate contract status and support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate contract files, trackers, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), program managers, financial management personnel, technical stakeholders, and contractor personnel.
- Support recurring program reviews, contract status meetings, financial reviews, and other customer engagements.
- Monitor contract deliverables, milestones, and reporting requirements to help ensure timely and compliant execution.
- Analyze contract data and identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Perform additional contract management and program support activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in contracts management, acquisition support, program management, financial management, business analysis, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience supporting federal government contracts, acquisition programs, or complex professional services environments.
- Working knowledge of federal contracting and acquisition processes.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting contractual, financial, and programmatic information.
- Experience tracking contract funding, expenditures, deliverables, schedules, or other program performance metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate information, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with government customers, program leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an integrated government/contractor team.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the position.
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of direct support to a Navy organization performing systems acquisition.
- ACAT II or III experience
Salary: $90K+ to align with education and experience
