Turner Industries Group is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. The General Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. Non-exempt role; Reports to Officer, Senior Manager or Executive management at the corporate level; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies.

Essential Qualifications
• Associate's degree or higher
• One to five years of experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting systems
• Technical proficiency and ability to learn new systems and software
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace

 

Functional Requirements
Understanding of Accounting Principles; Working knowledge of Google Workspace; Analytical skills with ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task; Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

 

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
