Human Resources Generalist
AGIS | Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Full-Time | Exempt | Onsite
Are you an HR professional who thrives on making an impact, building strong employee relationships, and helping an organization grow? AGIS is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team at our beautiful Rancho Cucamonga headquarters.
This is more than a traditional HR role. You'll be a key partner to employees and leaders across the organization, supporting everything from employee relations and compliance to benefits, payroll, talent programs, and HR operations. You'll work alongside an exceptional HR team that is passionate about creating a positive employee experience and supporting the continued growth of our business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, benefits, payroll, leave administration, and employment practices.
- Support onboarding, promotions, transfers, performance management, employee development, and offboarding activities.
- Assist with workplace investigations, corrective actions, compliance initiatives, and policy administration.
- Administer workers' compensation, unemployment claims, accommodations, and leave of absence programs including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and ADA processes.
- Support payroll processing, audits, reporting, and employee payroll inquiries.
- Administer employee benefits, enrollments, open enrollment activities, and retirement plan support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, training, and career development initiatives.
- Create employee communications, training materials, guides, and HR resources.
- Develop reports, workforce metrics, and dashboards that provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and elevate the employee experience.
- Support special projects, organizational initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across Human Resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Strong knowledge of California employment law, employee relations, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and compliance practices.
- Experience administering HR programs throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Experience supporting growth-focused organizations.
- Experience leveraging HR technology, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
