Description
Senior Procurement & Purchasing Coordinator
Responsible for managing and coordinating procurement and purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Supports strategic sourcing, vendor management, purchase order administration, contract coordination, and supplier performance while maintaining compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- purchase orders to tracking deliveries and resolving issues with suppliers.
- Work closely with vendors to get competitive pricing, negotiate terms, and make sure orders are delivered on time.
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal teams, including Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Inventory.
- Review purchasing needs and help determine the best suppliers based on cost, quality, availability, and delivery times.
- Track open purchase orders, backorders, shipments, and invoices to make sure everything stays on schedule.
- Handle pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoice discrepancies and work with vendors and internal teams to resolve them.
