Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Mall Center in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail center, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and maintain awareness of conditions that may impact guests, tenants, retailers, and/or property.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
