Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or vendor access as directed by site procedures, and communicate with residents and property contacts regarding security-related concerns.
• Support a professional residential environment by observing for property irregularities, assisting with routine requests, and following site-specific instructions for after-hours or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
