Description
We are seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to perform preventive, corrective, and outage maintenance activities on electrical systems and equipment within power generation and industrial facilities. The successful candidates will support maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical assets.
- Maintain and test transformers, motors, batteries, battery chargers, relays, switchgear, MCCs, and associated electrical equipment.
- Carry out insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, and functional checks.
- Support shutdown, outage, turnaround, and major maintenance activities.
- Perform equipment isolation and reinstatement activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Identify faults and recommend corrective actions to ensure equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), and site safety procedures.
- Prepare maintenance reports and accurately document completed work.
Requirements
- Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Power and distribution transformers
- LV/MV motors
- Battery systems and chargers
- Protection relays
- Switchgear and circuit breakers
- Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
- UPS systems
- Experience in shutdown, outage, or major maintenance projects is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and perform diagnostic testing.
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards, PTW, and LOTO procedures.
- Good English communication skills.

- Experience in power generation facilities.
- Exposure to high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- International project experience.
