Specification Sales Engineer - Power Distribution

Build relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, contractors, and end users to influence specifications on major projects. Provide technical guidance on LV switchgear, switchboards, circuit protection, energy management, power quality, surge protection, and EV infrastructure. Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and design workshops to consultants and engineering teams. Collaborate with sales, application engineering, and product teams to convert specifications into successful project wins. Building trusted relationships across the consultant community. HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, OR proven experience within power distribution, switchgear, building services, or technical sales. Experience working with consultants, contractors, end users, or specification-led projects. Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Knowledge of LV switchgear, switchboards, circuit protection, energy management, or power monitoring solutions. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Confident presenting technical solutions to engineering and commercial audiences. Commercially aware, with the ability to identify opportunities and influence project outcomes. Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing a pipeline of opportunities.
